Understanding and analyzing financial performance is essential to the successful operation of an independent campus store. After completing this course, learners will be able to understand and communicate the importance of financial management in the store, identify the components of a Profit & Loss (P&L) Statement, and recognize how different roles/positions in the store can impact financial results. By deconstructing the P&L Statement, the primary building blocks of financial tracking and analysis will be introduced, and learners will see the value of strong financial management in the campus store.
